Friends of Noise is a nonprofit that aims to create an all age music and arts venue. Imagine there being a safe space where music lovers of all ages could see a variety of live music. A place where music and arts organizations could provide arts education and the hands on training to run a music venue. Imagine young people having access to a computer/ video lab where they can create content to promote their concerts, design posters and t-shirts and so much more.

Friends of Noise is partnering with youth advocates, creative innovators in arts education, design and music production to make this dream a reality. But we need your help. If you would like to learn more, become an ally please drop us a note with your contact information by sending us an email at

Friends Of Noise is always looking for more great musicians, poets, and bands to play our future shows, especially if you’re under-21, but we do book adult artists as well! Click the button above to fill out the form so we can get in touch with you in the future!

We signed a deal with Portland Farmer’s Market to host TEN! Youth Music Showcases this summer and fall. From June through November we are taking over their Market Music stage at three of their sites, Lents, King and PSU. We are going to need to book 3 acts per day to fill 30 slots. All styles (Jazz, Hip Hop, Classical, Rock! You name it, we want to showcase it!) If you’re up for it we’d like you to play for 20 -30 minutes, then join us at our table to sell your music and rep Friends of Noise and yourselves or associated orgs. We hope that you’ll have recorded your music to play while you’re at the table with us but its not a must have.

Friends Of Noise is also always in need of more people to help with planning and putting on our events, especially if you’re under-21 and looking to learn some new skills! If you’re interested in helping with anything along the lines of marketing, outreach, booking, graphic design, or just want to see if there’s a fit for you, then click the button above to fill out the form so we can get in touch with you in the future!
